UNITS APPROVED TO TAKE THIS COURSE: NICU ONLY

Performing mock codes in simulation will help build proficiency, teamwork and communication. This mock evacuation will begin with patient care/role assignments and will proceed through evacuation of simulated patients. You will then be given a scenario that you will talk through with your team and assign roles. From there you will proceed through the evacuation process and end with a debriefing. During this time you will practice with all the evacuation equipment and evacuation boxes/bag. Contact Catherine Brown catbrown@vhchealth.org for questions.
