Based on a mnemonic to optimize learning, retention and recall of information, S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for the six assessment and care modules in the program: Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support. Contact Catherine Brown catbrown@vhchealth.org for questions.

Provider manual is required. VHC employees may borrow a manual from a Staff Development Specialist in WIH.

S.T.A.B.L.E. provider manuals are also available for purchase through Amazon or the S.T.A.B.L.E website at https://stableprogram.org/product/the-s-t-a-b-l-e-program-learnerprovider-manual/

This certificate contains information that the instructor is required to input into the S.T.A.B.L.E database in order for you certification card to be generated.

The target audience for the S.T.A.B.L.E course are those health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal care to include nurses, physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants and respiratory therapists.
